The costs have been broken down so you can identify areas that you may be able to save costs, for example you may have your own container or you may have a contact that can move container to and from the rail head; you may wish to load at container depot etc.
Please remember that insurance requirements remain that of the vehicle owner(s).

All prices include GST
- Price for 40' container based on 8 tonne gross weight, they weigh 4 tonne empty.
- Price for 20' container based on 5 tonne gross weight, they weigh 3 tonne empty.
- There is a surcharge $150.00 per tonne above these allowances.
- There will be minimal price variations each month for rail freight dependant upon current Federal Government diesel surcharges.
- Brisbane side lift prices are quoted for Metro area.
- Deduct amounts you can save by doing yourself.
- Payment must be made prior to any movements occurring.
- For initial container hirers Macfields will draw up a formal Rental Agreement. Their containers are available at all capital cities.
